Job Description As a Project Management Specialist at Medtronic, you will be leading or leveraging cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for key business processes. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. You will review project status and budgets, manage schedules, prepare status reports, and monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Additionally, you will assess project issues, develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives, and develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead or leverage cross-functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for key business processes. - Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects. - Serve as a liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. - Review project status and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. - Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. - Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. - Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. **Qualifications Required:** - Practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within the job area typically obtained through advanced education. - Baccalaureate degree or equivalent (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)) - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
