Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it is present in more than 50 countries around the world and employs about 30,000 people of over 130 nationalities.Purpose Of The PositionAs Project Management Engineer you will respond/report to the Project Manager and be part of our company’s various projects within the Project Management Department.ResponsibilitiesMissionAssist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and controlling project execution in compliance with client requirements, time and cost constraints, and HSE/Quality procedures.Support the Project Manager in managing technical and management topics such as:Internal and external interface managementContractual document review and issuanceProject activity planning and reportingSubcontractor and supplier coordinationSpare parts management and certificationsVendor assistance and guarantee claims managementTasksBidding PhaseAnalyze tender and contractual documents to identify scope, schedule, and constraints.Support preparation of the Project Execution Plan, Organization Charts, and Mobilization Plan.Assist in cost estimation for external services.Project Execution PhaseManage reporting for assigned project activities (subcontracts, vendors, interfaces).Assist in resource allocation and man-hour assessments.Prepare and manage:Risk Management Plan and Risk RegisterExternal Interfaces Management ProcedureSpare Parts ProcedureProject Record Books (PRB)Vendor Assistance on Site ProcedureGuarantee Claims Management ProcedureBack Charge ProcedureSupport change order management, claims, and dispute resolution.Coordinate communication tools and client relationship management.Assist in procurement activities, invoicing, and project close-out documentation.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related Management discipline.ExperienceMinimum of 7-10+ years as a Project Management Engineer in Oil and Gas field / EPC projects.LanguagesProficient in English.Technical SkillsProject Management Fundamentals: Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Project Execution Plan (PEP), resource planning.Risk Management: Risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.Contractual & Commercial Awareness: Understanding of EPC contracts, variations, claims, and back charges.Interface Management: Internal and external stakeholder coordination.Quality & HSE Compliance: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.Procurement & Vendor Management: Spare parts handling, vendor assistance, guarantee claims.Document Control & Reporting: Project Record Books, dashboards, progress reports.Cost Control & Scheduling: Familiarity with cost estimation, progress measurement, and schedule control.Commissioning & Close-Out: Mechanical completion, punch list management, and handover documentation.IT SkillsMicrosoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, Power Point, Outlook.Planning Tools: Primavera P6, MS Project.ERP Systems: SAP or equivalent for procurement and cost control.Document Management Systems: Share Point, Aconex.Data Analysis & Reporting Tools: Power BI or similar for dashboards.Collaboration Platforms: Microsoft Teams.BenefitsPermanent Contract – Project-based positionCorporate Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits packageWorking Hours: 45 hours (9 hours x 5 days)Our One Saipem Way soft skills model leverages on skills development, career growth, opportunities to innovate through complex challenges by promoting communication and collaboration to achieve common goalsLocation: Doha, Qatar (Site)We embrace diversity!
