Job Description SummaryStrategize, plan, manage and deliver GA project portfolio in the Cluster / sub region from transfer through to Provisional Acceptance Certificate ensuring that further business opportunities are pursued for Grid automation scope of supply driven by SQCD and LEAN approach. This is expected while delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and maximum margin value. Also, the role requires to coach and support GA Project Managers in Cluster to deliver complex Turkney projects as planned profitably and in line with customer and business line expectations. The role also has additional focus on building the Project Closeout Team (COT) for the Cluster/sub region.Essential ResponsibilitiesBased on contract, develop and implement the overall strategy for execution of the project to achieve the project performance goals.Represents GA towards internal/ external customers; controls and manages these interfaces and relationship.Sets up and secure the necessary resources for project execution.Regularly monitors and reports the necessary KPI for Project portfolio in the Cluster.Shares lesson learned on project execution activities to the teams involved including OTR and ITO.Identify and secure additional opportunities leveraging other Grid business lines, deep customer understanding and needs, and good knowledge of GA portfolioAssess the Close out portfolio regularly, make a detailed COT execution plan, build KPI and monitor on a timely manner, and get the COT actions/strategy executed.Set-up project management plan (incl. strategy) adapted to Multi-partner and Complex environment.Manage the changes and adapt the objectives & strategy accordingly.Organize and lead Project Gate reviews.Address project management issues (roadblocks, performance, resource gaps etc...)Contribute significantly to project management process improvements and delivery processes at Cluser level.Scope ManagementManage the entire GA project Portfolio and Close Oct activity.Analyze customer requirements.Detect errors/inconsistencies within customer requirement. Propose solutions to reduce those gaps and lead the relevant negotiations,TECO and COT of projects including delivering the project specific close out plan.Time ManagementResponsible for monitoring and support PMs to execute the project on time.Review and ensure the Master project schedule of key projects are timely updated.Produce and updates list of key milestones (incl. internal/external customers).Anticipate on-time delivery issues (documents, measure project progress and elaborate action plan).Cost ManagementTake responsibility for the Sales, CM, inventory, Billing & Cash Collection of the overall project for GA portfolio the cluster/subregion.Foresee costs & margins at completion, forecast early warning BCRs.Identify cost discrepancies.Develop monthly sales forecast plan of Cluster (in close cooperation with the project controller) based on PM inputs.Develop costs and revenue recovery plans, Risk mitigation plan.Optimize Costs and challenge productivity in all areas directly involved.Communication ManagementResponsible for all aspects of communication for the project portfolio of recurring and COT.Ensure customer satisfaction through effective and healthy communication.Manage ongoing working relationships with at top decision makers to ensure creative solutions and influence decision.Provide reporting to customer.Provide reporting to management.Risk and opportunity ManagementConduct Risk Sessions.Identify and implement risk mitigation plans.Proactively generate and manage opportunities.Identify business / projects risks and opportunities.Define action plan with R&D for quick correction of quality issues encounter by the team during project execution.Contract and Suppliers ManagementSupport for all aspects of contract management with the Customer, suppliers and partners for the overall project(s) with the support of the contract management team.Ensure full understanding of the Contractual requirements by project team.Build complex claim and VO’s files involving different levels of Customer / Supplier(s) organization.Challenge & negotiate T&C's with the support of the contract manager, claims and VO’s.Plan & follow procurement & delivery in coordination with procurement team and manufacturing units.Evaluate quality of deliveries: on-time deliveries, quality of products/systems supplied, quality of services supplied.Supply chain management include internal and external supplier, integration facilities, sub-suppliers.Support Sales and tendering teams to determine optimal execution setup/strategy for future ITO opportunities.Participate to business development with Sales team leading the actions on Large Turnkey segment.Support and coach project managers to deliver project as planned (on time, on quality with expected margin).Participate cum lead to Project execution review for Project portfolio in cluster/region and business line.Facilitate and organize RoE between
