Project Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ManagementPrepare project execution plans, look-ahead schedules, and resource plans.Allocate manpower, equipment, and subcontractors for OSP works.Track progress and ensure timely completion of all site activities.Technical & Engineering SupportReview IFC drawings, designs, splicing plans, and cable schedules.Resolve technical issues with engineering, QA/QC, GIS, and client teams.Ensure work complies with STC/Mobily/Zain/ITC specifications and standards.Execution OversightOversee trenching, ducting, HH/MH construction, fiber installation, splicing, and testing activities.Ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.Verify OTDR test results, splicing reports, and network acceptance readiness.Coordination & InterfaceCoordinate with client/consultant, municipalities, and utility authorities for NOCs and site permissions.Liaise with procurement for materials and ensure timely availability.Coordinate with PAT team for binder preparation and acceptance submissions.Reporting & DocumentationPrepare weekly/monthly progress reports.Track BOQs, materials, and work quantities.Validate redline drawings and ensure correct as-built submissions.Skills & Qualifications4-7 years of experience in OSP fiber optic telecom projects (mandatory for KSA).Strong knowledge of OSP design, execution, and acceptance processes.Proficiency in reviewing drawings, splicing diagrams, and OTDR analysis.Strong leadership, communication, and client-handling skills.Ability to manage multiple teams and high-volume site operations#J-18808-Ljbffr
