What Will You DoAs a Project Engineer – Telecom, you will be involved in managing client relationships and project execution for telecom system installations in Qatar. You will lead teams, manage budgets, oversee technical designs, communicate with clients, and mitigate risks while ensuring quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.How Will You DoStakeholder & Client ManagementAct as the main contact for clients and contractors. Lead meetings, resolve issues, and manage change requests.Project InitiationReview scope and goals with Sales. Align project with client specs, HSE standards, and international codes. Prepare execution plan.Project PlanningCreate detailed plans with timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate schedules and ensure alignment with contract terms.Team LeadershipLead engineering and site teams. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure smooth communication.Budget & Cost ControlManage budgets, track costs, and approve purchases. Forecast costs and handle scope changes.Technical OversightReview and approve designs. Ensure proper integration of telecom systems and resolve technical issues.Client CommunicationProvide regular updates and reports. Manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.Risk ManagementIdentify risks, assess impact, and implement mitigation plans.Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with standards. Oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning.Documentation & ReportingMaintain project records, prepare reports, and ensure audit-ready documentation.Procurement & Vendor ManagementSelect vendors, manage procurement timelines, and ensure compliance with specs.Installation SupervisionOversee telecom system installation in challenging environments. Coordinate with other disciplines.Regulatory & Safety ComplianceEnsure compliance with industry and safety standards. Coordinate permits and inspections.Testing & HandoverLead FAT/SAT and commissioning. Approve test procedures and manage client handover.Project ClosureFinalize handover, conduct reviews, and support warranty phase. Capture lessons learned.RequiredDegree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or similar.10+ years of experience in low voltage, security, and telecom systems.PreferredExperience with JCI/TYCO UAE and Oil & Gas projects.PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are a plus.Background in Telecom System Integration (TSI) is an advantage.Experience in EPC/FEED and ADNOC projects is beneficial.Strong knowledge of low current systems: Access Control, CCTV, LAN, VOIP, WiFi, Fire Detection, Intercom, PAGA, Radio (UHF/VHF), etc.Skilled in project planning, costing, and execution.Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.Able to prepare professional documents and client communications.Good understanding of contracts and vendor coordination.#J-18808-Ljbffr
