Project Engineer

Summary of the RoleProject Engineer responsible for developing conventional and improved engineering solutions for heavy lifting and transport projects, by preparing and selecting existing-and-renewed engineering method statements, drawings, calculations, visualisations, manuals, risk assessments and other relevant documents to ensure a safe and efficient execution.What you’ll be doingEngineering: Prepare and select existing-and-renewed engineering method statements, drawings, calculations, visualisations, manuals, risk assessments and verify suitability of equipment and methods.Project Execution: Ensure the engineering plan is followed during the job execution and contribute to operations management on site when required.Advising: Formulate and present possible engineering solutions and issue accurate advice at request or at own initiative, taking into account the applicable standards.Document Controlling: Make sure that the engineering documents are checked and approved by yourself and then by the relevant approver(s).Administration: Record, execute and maintain technical documents and data in (sub) systems, in line with internal requirements.What you’ll needProfessional level experience in departmental and administrative systems, and MS Office suite.Fluent proficiency in English verbal and written.Experience in AutoCAD.Relevant experience in any of the following sectors would be an advantage: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining.Saudi Council of Engineers membership.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.What you’ll getChallenging and engaging role with relatively complex tasks with exposure towards Heavy Lifting and Transportation.#J-18808-Ljbffr
