Project Engineer ( Bridge Project )

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in the construction or maintenance of bridges to join our infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning coordination and execution of bridge-related projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee bridge construction / maintenance projects from inception to completion.Prepare detailed project plans schedules and work programs in line with contract requirements.Coordinate with consultants contractors subcontractors and government authorities.Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications safety standards and quality control procedures.Monitor and track project progress prepare status reports and proactively manage risks and delays.Supervise on-site teams including engineers inspectors and labor to ensure daily project activities are executed effectively.Review engineering drawings technical specifications and method statements.Provide technical support and guidance to resolve engineering issues during construction.Ensure adherence to applicable regulations codes and standards related to bridge construction and maintenance.Maintain proper documentation including reports logs permits and correspondence.QualificationsBachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.Minimum 10 years of proven experience in bridge construction and maintenance projects in the UAE or GCC.Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.Additional InformationIn-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices specific to bridges.Familiarity with Abu Dhabi / UAE regulations standards and approval procedures.Strong project management and leadership skills.Proficient in engineering and project management software (AutoCAD MS Project Primavera etc.).Excellent communication coordination and report-writing skills in English.Remote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
