Job Title: Project EngineerDepartment: ProjectsTravel Required: Approx. 3 days/monthExperience: 2-5yearsIndustry: Railway / Steel /ConstructionJob Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our Projects Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel structures, rail systems, or crane track installations and will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of complex engineering projects—from tender preparation to project close-out.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Preparation & PlanningPrepare tender documents, cost estimations, and project quotationsConduct feasibility studies (technical, planning, financial)Coordinate with Technical, Purchasing, Back Office, Finance, and Installation teamsAllocate resources (manpower & machinery) for site activitiesDevelop and maintain detailed project schedulesProject Execution & ManagementLead day-to-day operations across project phases: Tender, Pre-Execution, Execution, and Close-OutMonitor project costs, progress, and compliance with contract termsEnsure timely completion and quality standardsLiaise with the Installation Manager to oversee on-site executionHandle client communication and reporting throughout the projectConduct initial and detailed cost forecastsApprove project-related expenses and supplier/subcontractor paymentsPrepare and track client invoicing and cash flowsProvide bi-monthly updates on project financials to managementHealth, Safety, and QualityEnforce safety regulations and ensure HSE complianceMaintain quality control documentation and follow protocolsQualifications & SkillsEducationBachelor’s or Master’s in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalentExperience2-5 years in project engineering, preferably in construction/steel/railway sectorsExperience on projects valued at $100M+ (preferred)Technical SkillsStrong understanding of steel construction and crane track systemsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, MS Project, Word, PowerPoint)Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D or similar toolsExperience with project management software is an advantageLanguagesArabic and/or French is a plusProactive, trustworthy, and results-drivenTeam-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication and reporting skillsUpload your resume and our tool will compare it to the requirements for this job like recruiters do.#J-18808-Ljbffr
