OverviewJob Title: Project Engineer Client SideLocation: Dubai, UAESalary: AED 15,000 – AED 20,000Employment Type: Full TimeReporting To: Senior Project ManagerRole OverviewThe Project Engineer Client Side will represent the client on site and oversee the day to day technical supervision of the construction works. The role involves monitoring quality control, coordination, and compliance of construction activities related to a high end luxury villa project. The position requires maintaining strong site presence and sound technical judgment while safeguarding the client’s interests in terms of quality, design intent, cost awareness, and project schedule. The Project Engineer will ensure that contractors execute works according to approved drawings and specifications.Education and Professional BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering is mandatory.Minimum 8 to 12 years of total professional experience in construction projects.Minimum 4 to 6 years of direct experience working on high end residential villas, luxury private residences, or bespoke residential developments with premium architectural and interior finishes.RequirementsProven experience working on construction projects within UAE.Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality regulations and authority inspection procedures.Familiarity with UAE construction practices, site sequencing, and approval procedures.Experience working with local contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and engineering firms.Project Experience RequirementsExperience supervising at least two completed high luxury villas or one luxury villa combined with one premium residential project.Experience involving complex architectural detailing and custom joinery finishes.Exposure to high specification MEP systems including home automation systems, chilled water or VRF cooling systems, swimming pools, and water features.Technical Competency RequirementsConstruction and Engineering KnowledgeStrong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures.Experience with structural steel and architectural steel works.Understanding of construction tolerances required for luxury grade finishes.Ability to review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.Knowledge of waterproofing systems including basements, roofs, wet areas, and swimming pools.Architectural and Interior Works SupervisionExperience supervising installation of natural stone and marble.Experience with decorative tiling, parquet flooring, and façade cladding systems.Supervision of bespoke joinery and cabinetry installations.Ability to ensure architectural aesthetics and design intent are maintained during construction.MEP and Specialist Systems KnowledgeWorking knowledge of HVAC systems including VRF and chilled water systems.Understanding of electrical power distribution and lighting control systems.Knowledge of ELV systems including CCTV, access control, BMS, and home automation.Familiarity with plumbing systems, drainage, water features, and swimming pools.Ability to coordinate MEP installations with architectural and structural elements.Core Roles and ResponsibilitiesClient RepresentationAct as the client’s technical representative on site.Safeguard the client’s interests related to quality, design compliance, and long term durability.Ensure no unauthorized changes to design or materials occur without client approval.Site Supervision and Quality ControlMonitor daily construction activities and workmanship quality.Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.Identify defective work early and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Maintain luxury grade workmanship standards across all project disciplines.Design Compliance and CoordinationCoordinate between consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors.Review shop drawings and ensure alignment with design intent.Identify design conflicts or constructability challenges and escalate them when necessary.Ensure proper coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP works.Project Programme and Progress MonitoringMonitor construction progress against the approved project schedule.Identify potential delays or sequencing issues.Ensure proper construction sequencing to avoid rework.Participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings.Material Control and ApprovalsReview contractor material submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications.Verify that only approved materials and finishes are installed.Monitor delivery, storage, and protection of high value materials.Ensure mock ups are approved before full installation.Inspections, Testing and HandoverCoordinate inspections with consultants and authorities.Witness testing and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.Monitor snagging and de snagging activities.Review as built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals.Support project handover to the client.Reporting and DocumentationPrepare site reports covering progress, quali
