Project Engineer

Were the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities work as a team and were proud of the difference we make to customers to local communities and towards a sustainable future for the world.We are seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer who will be responsible for leading and utilising the resources provided to deliver allocated work scopes Lead/Supervise/Manage Aggreko technicians and subcontractors allocated to any of their assigned projects.Why Join AggrekoRole to be based in Abu Dhabi UAECompetitive compensationLife and health insuranceEmployee assistance programBonus plan based on personal and company goal achievingWhat you'll do:Translate customer requirements into appropriate applications / concept designs and liaise with the design team and Subject Matter Experts to produce a suitable engineering pack.Preparing engineering standards designs and specifications.May oversee installation testing and/or commissioning of new solutions.Support the project team with selecting materials equipment project staff and external contractors.Reporting to the Project Manager - responsible for delivering projects / assigned work scopes as delegated by the Depot Project Manager this includes.Power & Temperature Control Projects / Scope of WorkInternal Programs / CampaignsLead QHSE Workshops HAZOP HAZID ENVID OHIDPrepare schedule coordinate and monitor up to 2 small / medium scale projectsRepresent Aggreko as a responsible / appointed person on-site and manage a team of Aggreko staff and contractors to deliver projects.Manage the delivery installation operations and demobilization of aggreko projects/work scopes in line with project scheduleResponsible for safe Site installation commissioning and the handover of Aggreko packages adhering to aggreko standards/ customer standards as requiredAttend regular progress meetings with the customer and all other suppliers inform attendees on planned tasks.Day to day leadership of assigned teams set daily work plans in accordance with the project plans equipment and man-power resources allocated by the Operations team.Adherence to pre-agreed budgets targets early identification of potential overruns or overspend.You’ll have the following skills and experience:Qualified Electrical Mechanical or Temperature Control (Apprenticeship HNC ONC NVQ3 or equivalent)Min 3 years - Supervisory/ Site Lead experience (Customer Facing)Delivery Installation and Commissioning of Industrial Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC EquipmentImplementation of on-site QHSE standardsConfident in managing small to medium size teams directlyComputer literate competent user of MS Office software packagesInterpret Engineering /Technical Drawings (SLO SLD P&ID PFD)Must hold a full valid UAE driving licenseWilling and able to travel to Project Sites as required.Regularly required to work weekends/during public holidays to deliver project work scopes in line with project schedulesHigh standard of both spoken and written English languageBachelors degree (or equivalent experience)Scottish Power HV SwitchingPMP certified.Find out more and apply now.Bring your energy.
