Project Director - Construction Supervision

<div><p>Our client a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.</p><h3>The Role</h3><p>The Project Director will lead construction supervision for a landmark mixed‑use residential villas project in Riyadh. This pivotal role involves managing a large multidisciplinary team and driving the successful delivery of a world‑class gated community. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing mega‑scale residential projects from concept to handover, with a strong understanding of international standards and Saudi building regulations. You will guide the project through all construction phases, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, sustainability, and client satisfaction.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead all aspects of construction supervision for the mega residential/villa compound project, ensuring alignment with the project’s vision, quality standards, and schedule.</li><li>Manage a large multidisciplinary team, including engineers, architects, consultants, and contractors, driving collaboration, accountability, and high performance.</li><li>Oversee the project from ground‑breaking through handover, ensuring compliance with international standards, Saudi building codes, and local authority requirements (MOMRA, Civil Defense, SEC, etc.).</li><li>Implement and enforce robust QA/QC systems, HSE protocols, and sustainability practices across the project.</li><li>Ensure timely and cost‑effective project delivery by closely monitoring schedules, budgets, resources, and risks, and taking proactive corrective action when necessary.</li><li>Lead contract administration, including reviewing, negotiating, and managing agreements in accordance with FIDIC Red Book standards.</li><li>Drive effective communication and reporting to stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and executive management, providing clear updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.</li><li>Mentor and develop the project team, cultivating a culture of excellence, professionalism, and accountability.</li><li>Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, resolving technical and operational challenges efficiently while maintaining stakeholder confidence.</li><li>Ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations, quality benchmarks, and project specifications, achieving client satisfaction and operational excellence.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum of 18 years’ experience in construction supervision or management, including at least 10 years in a senior leadership role such as Director or Senior Project Manager.</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading at least one mega residential or villa compound project in Saudi Arabia or the GCC from inception to handover (project value ≥ SAR 1 billion).</li><li>Proven capability in managing supervision teams of 50+ professionals.</li><li>Professional Engineer registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is mandatory.</li><li>In‑depth knowledge of Saudi building codes, standards, and authority approval processes (MOMRA, Civil Defense, SEC, etc.).</li><li>Expertise in construction supervision practices, QA/QC systems, and HSE regulations.</li><li>Strong experience in contract administration, including FIDIC Red Book familiarity.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
