Project Coordinator

We are seeking a technically strongProjectCoordinatorwith a background in Architecture or Civil Engineering to support the delivery of fast-track construction and themingprojects.This role focuses heavily on design coordination and interface management between Design, Site, Procurement, Factory, QA/QC, and Commercial teams. The successful candidate will ensure that design intent is properly translated into execution, and that all departments remain aligned throughout theprojectlifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate between Design, Site, Procurement, and Factory teams to ensure full alignment of deliverablesReview drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals to ensure constructability and coordinationTrack design development, approvals, and revisions across all disciplinesEnsure design intent is clearly communicated and maintained during executionFacilitate design coordination workshops and interface meetingsDesign Coordination & Interface ManagementEnsure alignment between design outputs and procurement packagesCoordinate material submittals, samples, and technical approvals with Design and Procurement teamsTrack long-lead items and ensure design is frozen in line with procurement timelinesSupport resolution of design-related procurement issuesSite & Design AlignmentEnsure site execution is fully aligned with approved drawings and specificationsCapture site-driven design issues and coordinate timely resolution with the Design teamMonitor and flag any construction works proceeding without approved design or documentationSupport coordination between subcontractors and design disciplinesDocumentation & Submittals ManagementTrack RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and approvals across all disciplinesEnsure all design changes, comments, and rejections are properly recorded and communicatedMaintain document control and traceability through systems such as AconexPlanning & Progress CoordinationCoordinate with Planning to ensure design deliverables align with construction schedulesTrack design approvals againstprojectmilestonesSupport progress reporting with focus on design and coordination statusCommercial & Change ManagementSupport evaluation and coordination of Variation Orders (VOs) related to design changesEnsure all stakeholders understand scope changes and their impact on cost and scheduleAssist in gathering technical inputs for claims and EOT submissionsRisk & Coordination ControlIdentify design clashes, coordination gaps, and constructability risks earlyEscalate critical interface issues between departmentsEnsure closure of coordination actions across Design, Site, and ProcurementRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (preferred)3–7 years of experience in construction, design coordination, orprojectdeliveryStrong exposure to design management, shop drawings, and technical submittalsExperience in fast-track or large-scaleprojects is highly preferredStrong understanding of design → procurement → construction workflowFamiliar with tools such as Aconex, Primavera P6, AutoCAD/Revit (preferred), ExcelSkillsKey CompetenciesStrong technical understanding of design and construction integrationExcellent coordination and interface management skillsAbility to review and interpret drawings and specificationsStrong communication across multidisciplinary teamsHigh attention to detail and documentation disciplineAbility to manage multiple interfaces under tight timelinesSuccess CriteriaSmooth coordination between Design, Procurement, and SiteTimely approval and flow of design informationEarly identification and resolution of design clashesNo execution based on unapproved or unclear designStrong alignment between design intent and delivered works#J-18808-Ljbffr
