Project Controls Manager (Onshore Projects)About the job Project Controls Manager (Onshore Projects)Position: Project Controls Manager (Onshore Projects)Contract Details: Full-time, permanent with family statusWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Controls Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of project controls for our EPC oil & gas client's onshore projects.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project controls strategies and plans for onshore projects, including cost control, schedule control, risk management, and change management- Monitor project progress and performance, identify potential issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans- Ensure compliance with project controls processes and procedures, and provide guidance and support to project teams- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project budgets, schedules, and forecasts- Manage project cost tracking and reporting, including budget vs. actual analysis, variance analysis, and cost trend analysis- Lead project risk management activities, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks- Oversee project change management process, including review and approval of change requests- Provide regular project controls reports to senior management and clients, highlighting project status, risks, and opportunities- Mentor and train project controls team members, and provide guidance on best practices and industry standards- Continuously improve project controls processes and procedures to enhance project performance and efficiencyQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field- Minimum of 15+years of experience in project controls, preferably in ADNOConshore projects- Strong knowledge of project controls principles, processes, and tools- Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines- PMP or other project management certifications are a plus- Candidates with ADNOC experience will be given preference.This opportunity offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
