Continued growth within the business demands an exciting opportunity for a creative and hard‑working Project Architect to be part of a dynamic and dedicated architectural design team.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Design Manager, the Project Architect will be an active member of the Management structure expected to run a portfolio of projects independently. The role involves ensuring superior delivery of projects, enforcing and maintaining agreed standards within the project teams, providing assistance to the Senior Management team and the Managing Partner to improve the overall performance of the Practice. The Project Architect will focus on project deliverables including programming, assisting with enquiries and development of proposals, providing a full and detailed project appraisal and design brief, developing and providing direction on concept and schematic design, and creating detailed designs that maintain the design intent through all project phases. Managerial responsibilities will include leadership, communication, delegation, motivation, performance appraisals, financial management and marketing.QualificationsDegree qualified Architect with at least 10 years of experience, of which at least 5 years have been based in the Middle East and held at a managerial level within a design consultancy environment. Proven experience on site/construction, dealing with local authorities’ approval process and contract administration is essential. Exceptional mixed‑use residential, hospitality and retail design experience will be a strong fit for this company. Candidates must be confident, articulate, highly presentable, and a consistent creative talent who demonstrates a superior work ethic across all business‑related activities.
