Production Supervisor

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning and Scheduling:Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to maintain efficiency.Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.Team Management:Lead and supervise a team of production workers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.Motivate and empower the team to achieve production goals.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.Quality Control:Implement and maintain rigorous quality control procedures.Monitor product quality throughout the production process.Identify and resolve quality issues promptly.Safety and Compliance:Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines.Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.Process Improvement:Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency.Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability.Equipment Maintenance:Oversee the maintenance and calibration of production equipment.Schedule preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.Troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate repairs.Qualifications and Skills1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related field preferred.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in paint production or a related manufacturing industry.3. Strong leadership and supervisory skills.4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.5. Knowledge of quality control and Lean Manufacturing principles.6. Proficiency in using production software and systems.7. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.8. Strong attention to detail.9.
