Production Supervisor

<div><p>Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next<b>Production Supervisor</b>at our Float Glass Facility in<b>Al-Jubail</b>, Saudi Arabia.</p><p>This position will be responsible for advancing culture among the team members by effectively playing Responsibilities of Supervisor role. This role will focus on achieving smooth plant operations in shifts, engagement of team members and driving operations vision into action.</p><h3>What You Will Do</h3><ul><li>Leading an operational team of<b>7-8 operators</b>in a safe and efficient manner and to taking ownership vision advancement, safety, quality and productivity.</li><li>Build the high-performing team by understanding your direct reports individual capabilities and utilize them to maximize the value creation for the team as whole. Work with the team to create personalized development plans, deliver meaningful coaching and be involved in selecting and retaining the right people.</li><li>Drive the team in shift and develop the team skills</li><li>Driving safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively eliminate hazards. Providing safety training to crew members and delivering training materials in a meaningful approach.</li><li>Facilitating team development and communication, employee skill development, problem-solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership and holding employees accountable.</li><li>Monitoring product quality and providing direction to crew members to maximize efficiency.</li><li>Promoting employee involvement, providing coaching, feedback and direction as required.</li><li>Assisting with troubleshooting production issues.</li><li>Completing data entry responsibilities and generating reports in a timely and efficient manner.</li><li>Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports and ensure the application of the individual performance development cycle.</li><li>Understand the cost of decisions and impact on departments and other processes.</li><li>Meet or exceed KPI goals by demonstrating success in measuring and improving processes.</li></ul><h3>Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering</li><li>Experience working on the shop floor within the manufacturing industry.</li><li>Experience participating in process improvement initiatives and activities.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams, with strong skills in motivating and guiding team members.</li><li>Ability to drive transformation initiatives and implement changes across people, process and company to maximize value creation.</li><li>Commitment to promoting behaviors aligned to the Company’s visions, values and code of conduct.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)</li><li>Flexibility to work in rotating shifts<b>(12-hour shifts / 6 a.m.- 6 p.m./ working 5 days on and 4 days off)</b></li></ul><h3>What Will Put You Ahead</h3><ul><li>Experience in glass production (Semiconductor, Automotive, Coating line)</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
