Production Planner(Steel Fabrication) | UAE

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Production Planner with strong expertise in steel fabrication (Structural, Plates, and Piping) for large-scale industrial projects including Refineries, Petrochemicals, Fertilizer Plants, and Storage Tank Erection. The candidate must have prior experience working with contracting companies engaged in fabrication and erection activities in the oil & gas and heavy industrial sectors.F2F Interview in Kochi & Mumbai in 1st week of March.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed production plans and schedules for structural steel, plate fabrication, piping spools, and storage tanks.Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine fabrication scope and sequence.Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, and Project teams to ensure timely execution.Develop weekly and monthly production targets and monitor progress against baseline schedules.Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to meet project deadlines.Track material availability and coordinate with stores and procurement departments.Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective action plans.Prepare production reports, MIS, dashboards, and progress presentations for management.Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.Support site erection teams with fabrication planning and dispatch coordination.Work closely with workshop supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedules.RequirementsStrong knowledge of:Structural steel fabricationPlate fabrication and storage tank worksPiping fabrication and spool managementFamiliarity with refinery, petrochemical, and fertilizer project requirements.Experience in contracting companies handling EPC/industrial projects.Proficiency in planning tools such as:Primavera (P6) or MS ProjectAdvanced ExcelERP systemsAbility to read and interpret fabrication drawings and isometrics.Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.Experience in multi-discipline project environments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
