The role ensures that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and products are completed on time for dispatch. The position also involves supervising staff, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement in departmental performance.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the entire powder coating operations of the company.Ensure products are completed and ready for dispatch within defined timelines.Check the quality of powder coating by performing various laboratory tests using calibrated instruments.Ensure that all products consistently meet quality standards.Handle purchasing and stock control activities related to the department.Manage and plan production schedules for different shifts.Resolve customer issues and complaints related to powder coating.Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards.Train new employees within the department.Ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day departmental activities.Conduct all HSE-related assessments on a regular basis.Monitor production efficiency and recommend improvements where required.Maintain proper documentation related to quality, safety, and production records.Job RequirementsDemonstrable experience in powder coating and manufacturing environments.Management or supervisory qualification and/or relevant experience.Ability to work under multiple deadlines and prioritize workload effectively.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong knowledge of HSE practices and relevant certifications.Ability to lead and motivate production staff.Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Education & ExperienceBE Engineering (Chemical specialization preferred).Minimum 4+ years of experience in powder coating or related sectors.At least 4 years of experience in powder coating-related laboratories.Proven experience in managing production and quality processes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
