<div><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Royal Joinery has its own dedicated Factory to assist clients on high-profile projects that require international expertise and a degree of workmanship that eliminates the need to source sub-contractors and third-party furniture suppliers. Our primary focus is on carpentry and woodwork specialties across a wide variety of projects and sectors through the delivery of sophisticated qualified experts in their field and innovative techniques and equipment.</p><p>As the Production Manager at Royal Wood Factory, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire production process within the joinery, wood factory, and fit-out. This includes planning, organizing, developing, and coordinating the production activities to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of wood products and fit-out solutions. The production manager will play a crucial role in optimizing operational efficiency, resource allocation, and team management.</p><h3>Area of Responsibility</h3><ul><li><b>Production Planning and Scheduling</b>: Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer orders and project deadlines while optimizing resource utilization.</li><li><b>Development Production Process</b>: Contribute to the development and enhancement of production processes.</li><li><b>Resource Management</b>: Allocate manpower, machinery, and equipment efficiently to maximize production output.</li><li><b>Quality Assurance</b>: Ensure products meet quality standards by implementing quality control processes and conducting regular inspections.</li><li><b>Cost Management</b>: Monitor production costs, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and implement efficient production methods.</li><li><b>Team Leadership</b>: Lead, train, and motivate production teams to achieve production targets and maintain a positive work environment.</li><li><b>Process Improvement</b>: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and streamline operations.</li><li><b>Health and Safety Compliance</b>: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.</li><li><b>Inventory Management</b>: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages or excess stock.</li><li><b>Reporting</b>: Generate production reports, performance metrics, and other relevant data for management review.</li></ul><h3>Brief Description Of Activities</h3><ul><li>Plan and execute production activities, considering customer orders and project specifications.</li><li>Champion safety guidelines and regulations within the production area.</li><li>Provide guidance and supervision to production teams to ensure smooth operations.</li><li>Collaborate with the design team to evaluate design feasibility for production.</li><li>Monitor and manage production processes for accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>Implement rigorous quality control measures to uphold product quality.</li><li>Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.</li><li>Address production-related challenges and troubleshoot issues as they arise.</li><li>Optimize resource allocation to meet production targets effectively.</li></ul><h3>Job Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum experience: At least 5 years in a similar role in a joinery company.</li><li>Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to production supervisors and teams.</li><li>Set performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching as needed.</li><li>Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture within the production department.</li></ul><h3>Technical KSAs / Certifications, Education Etc.</h3><ul><li>A degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.</li><li>Expertise in woodworking machinery, equipment, and tools.</li><li>Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies is advantageous.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD software for design evaluation and production planning.</li><li>Exceptional leadership, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><p>In return, we offer you a path towards your most rewarding career and an opportunity to be part of one of the leading family groups within the UAE.
