<div><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are now looking to recruit a<b>Production Engineer - Metal Forming (DWI 2-Piece Can) for MEA</b>, within our Project Engineering team, based at Dubai (UAE). The role reports to the Metal Forming Team Leader EMEA, with a functional link to the Regional Manufacturing Director MEA.</p><p>The scope of the role is to support primarily 5 manufacturing locations in the Middle East and North Africa (UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia). You will also be involved in project work at new greenfield sites and newly acquired manufacturing locations.</p><h3>Your mission in Crown</h3><p>Join us and participate in all the activities of the Metal Forming within the Mechanical Project Engineering Team in order to improve all standards of the manufacturing processes in terms of quality, cost and efficiency.</p><p>The primary areas of activity and responsibility will include the Coil Handling, Cupping system, Bodymakers, Trimmers, Necker, Flanger, Reformer, Die sets, Tooling and Lubricants applied in the forming process.</p><p>You promote the development of SOP’s, Best Practices and Cost Reduction Programmes. You deliver classroom and hands‑on training of Metal Forming equipment and processes. You are liaising with CROWN Technology on equipment, tooling, materials and process improvements and standardisation of specifications.</p><h3>About You</h3><p>The successful candidate has a sound engineering background/ or you are qualified to ONC, HNC, HND or degree level. You are highly experienced in 2pc engineering and process knowledge, with a safety mind‑set. You have the ability to acquire and utilise knowledge in the specific areas of cupping, bodymaking and necking. You are able to show proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels and you demonstrate with a logical approach, high levels of problem‑solving and effective decision‑making skills. A self‑starter, you are an effective team player, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You are simultaneously computer literate. You are flexible to travel at short notice and for extended periods overseas, with the willingness to adapt to different cultures and circumstances.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
