Product Owner (IT Business Partner) | UAE National

Partner with business units to identify and propose technology initiatives aligned with organizational and departmental strategies.Assess and analyze business requests to ensure alignment with DCT’s strategic priorities, including technology advancement and experience simplification.Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, developing strong business cases that demonstrate clear value.Contribute to shaping a unified vision for business solutions and influence the technology roadmap for organizational transformation.Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, acting as the primary liaison between Technology and business units.Translate business needs into clear technical requirements while anticipating gaps, overlaps, and priorities within the project and technology portfolio.Support budgeting, monitoring, and reporting for assigned projects or business units.Help drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies.Stay informed about emerging technologies and conduct market research to evaluate new and existing solutions.Support the creation of RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and participate in vendor evaluation alongside business, procurement, and Technology teams.Contribute to strategic planning activities across the Technology department.Shared ResponsibilitiesTake the lead on additional assignments as required by senior management.Promote adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.Demonstrate and uphold DCT values, fostering an ethical and value‑centric culture.Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities focused on global standards and cost efficiency.Report incidents or unsafe conditions promptly and contribute to investigations as needed.Communication & Stakeholder EngagementInternalTechnology Department teamsRelevant DCT sectors and departmentsExternalKey vendors and suppliersService providers and consulting firmsFederal and local agencies/authoritiesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.CertificationsCBAP or equivalent certification is highly preferred.3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.Experience in Technology Project Management principles is an advantage.Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.Familiarity with emerging technologies (AI, Cloud solutions, etc.).Ability to lead through influence and drive cross‑functional collaboration.Excellent command of English—spoken and written.Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and vendor engagement.Self‑motivated with the ability to deliver high‑quality work within set timelines.Ability to quickly translate business needs into effective technical solutions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
