Job Description
JOB PURPOSETo manage vehicle product configurations and ordering processes, ensuring that vehicles sold by Almana Motors are correctly defined, ordered, built, and delivered in alignment with market demand, pricing rules, and manufacturer production constraints.KEY RESULTS AREAS / DELIVERABLES AND KEY ACTIVITIES1. PRODUCT CONFIGURATION & OEM ALIGNMENTEnsure all vehicle products are correctly defined, maintained, and aligned with OEM standards for all Almana Group’s automotive brands.Manage trims, options, packages, and product codes in line with OEM guidelines and regional specifications.Coordinate closely with OEM product teams on configuration changes, updates, and market adjustments.Ensure product data accuracy across ordering, sales, and reporting systems.Act as the product subject matter expert for all Almana Group’s automotive brands.Maintain updated product catalogs, price lists, and configuration guides.2. VEHICLE ORDERING & SYSTEM INPUTEnsure accurate and timely placement of vehicle orders in OEM and internal ordering systems.Input new vehicle orders into the system in line with approved forecasts, allocations, and production rules.Validate all orders for compliance with OEM build rules, constraints, and allocation limits.Manage order amendments, prioritization, and cancellations as required.Track order confirmations, production status, and factory acknowledgements.Resolve order rejections, errors, or system discrepancies in coordination with OEM and internal teams.3. OEM COORDINATION & SUPPLY MANAGEMENTAct as the primary coordination point between Almana Group – Corporate Automotive and the OEM for product and ordering matters.Liaise with OEM representatives on allocation planning, production schedules, and constraints.Coordinate responses to supply shortages, constrained parts, or production delays.Ensure OEM communications are clearly translated into actionable guidance for sales and operations teams.Support OEM audits, reviews, and product compliance requirements.Maintain strong working relationships with OEM regional and factory contacts.4. PRODUCT MARKETING ANALYSISProvide support to internal stakeholders for decision-making process through:Conduct market study and competitor analysisAnalysis of competitor pricing to improve price positioning of all Almana Group’s automotive products.Review of industry volume, top brands & models, market share, and segmentation.5. PRODUCT SALES FORECASTING & PERFORMANCE ANALYSISEnsure accurate forecasting of vehicle sales volumes and product mix for all Almana Group’s automotive brands.Analyze historical sales data, order banks, and market trends to support demand planning.Support annual and rolling forecasts in coordination with Sales and Management.Monitor product performance and identify gaps between forecast, orders, and actual sales.Flag risks related to overstock, under-allocation, or mismatched product mix.Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales performance and inventory health.6. INVENTORY, PIPELINE & AVAILABILITY REPORTINGEnsure visibility and control over total vehicle availability and pipeline status.Prepare and maintain reports covering total availability, inventory, pipeline, arrivals, and deliveries.Track vehicles from order placement through production, shipment, and arrival.Monitor stock aging and slow-moving inventory in coordination with Sales and Operations.Provide regular MIS reports to management and sales leadership.Ensure reporting accuracy and timely distribution of information to stakeholders.7. SALES & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL SUPPORTEnsure seamless coordination between Product, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and IT teams.Support sales teams with product guidance, availability updates, and delivery timelines.Assist during new model launches, facelifts, and option introductions for all the brands.Coordinate with marketing on product mix and launch readiness.Support system enhancements related to ordering and product data accuracy.Identify and recommend process improvements in product and ordering workflows.EDUCATIONBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.EXPERIENCEMinimum 3–5 years of experience in product management, ordering, sales operations, or supply chain within the automotive industry.Experience working with vehicle ordering systems, SAP, or manufacturer proprietary tools is highly preferred.Exposure to dealership or distributor environments is an advantageCOMPETENCIESStrong understanding of vehicle configurations, options, and production rules.High attention to detail and ability to manage complex data and systems.Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and forecasting.Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into sales-friendly language.Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with ERP and ordering platforms.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.Strong coordination and stakeholder
