Job Description
Job Description As a Data Analyst at Pall Corporation, your role is crucial in supporting Pan-Pall product marketing initiatives, including Product Lifecycle Management, Pricing, and Competitive Intelligence. Your responsibilities will involve collecting and interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making across Pall. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders in Pall's Business Unit Product Management teams, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Track and monitor key performance indicators from various sources to determine initiative progress and ensure Business Units follow standard work and governance.
- Analyze data for trends and make insightful recommendations to drive standard products and improve OTD.
- Maintain cross-business unit tools for easy access to product classification, lead time, status, and inventory.
- Develop workflows to automate data collection and processing tasks.
- Partner with business unit product management, sales, and operations teams to evaluate improvement opportunities in KPI tracking, tools, and standard work.
- Pricing Initiative
- Develop tools to standardize price metric tracking across business units.
- Create templates to support BU marketing teams with price planning.
- Research and monitor relevant indices to support price increase recommendations.
- Proxy
- Ensure timely tracking of proxy data on a quarterly basis.
- Develop templates for BU Marketing to communicate Pall vs. proxy performance and recommended actions.
- Research available tools for Competitor reporting.
- Continuous Learning and Development
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics.
- Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities.
- Share knowledge and insights with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous learning.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data mining techniques is desirable.
