Product Manager, Autonomous Vehicle Platforms

SteerAI’s advanced AI-powered autonomy stack, developed by the Technology Innovation Institute, empowers the logistics and defense industries by turning industrial vehicles into autonomous powerhouses that can handle complex off-road missions, transform operations and protect organizations' most important assets: their workforce.</p><h3>About the role</h3><p>We are looking for a results-driven Senior Product Manager to lead the development of an end-to-end product that brings together hardware and software into a tightly integrated system. This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of physical product development and embedded software, with a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver autonomous vehicle products catered to defence and dual-use applications. You will be responsible for defining and driving the roadmap for a complex system, ensuring a strong product-market fit, clear competitive differentiation, and flawless execution across both hardware and software components</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Own the full product lifecycle of a complex hardware-software system, including ideation, requirements, development, deployment and feedback loops.</li><li>Define and evolve a product vision that is deeply grounded in customer needs and market dynamics, and communicates clear competitive differentiation.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineering, software development, design, operations, manufacturing, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes.</li><li>Ensure seamless integration across hardware and software touchpoints to create.</li><li>Translate customer insights and technical realities into clear product requirements and milestones.</li><li>Drive decision-making around trade-offs in scope, timing, and features to deliver a high product value and maintain a cohesive, reliable, and high-performing end-user experience.</li><li>Stay on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer feedback to continually refine the product and roadmap.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of product management experience, including significant exposure to hardware-based products (e.g., robotics, IoT, autonomous vehicles, or industrial control systems).</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.</li><li>Strong understanding of system-level thinking and how to balance technical complexity with high velocity dlivery.</li><li>Proven success managing the development of integrated hardware and software systems from concept to launch</li><li>Expertiese with hardware lifecycle processes, supply chain, and manufacturing constraints</li></ul><h3>Nice to have</h3><ul><li>Experience with software tools that support real-time operations, logistics, or vehicle/asset coordination.</li><li>Strong grasp of hardware/software integration testing and validation processes.</li></ul><h3>What we offer</h3><p>We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the Autonomous Robotics industry.
