Job Description Role Overview: You will be responsible for driving new product development of Mechanical Hardware for Yale & ASSA ABLOY in the SAARC region. This will involve gathering market intelligence, benchmarking products with competitors, and ensuring a pipeline of new products to meet market needs across different segments and sales channels. Key Responsibilities: - Understand customer needs through structured process of VOC (Voice of customer) with both Internal and External customers - Conduct product benchmarking against competition - Manage product lifecycle and develop product roadmap for new products for the next 3 years - Collaborate with Sales, Marketing & Sourcing functions to ensure timely launch of new products - Enhance margins in the product category through product differentiation and price management - Evaluate the sales performance of SKUs periodically and devise improvement action plans - Provide product training to Sales and Service teams Qualification Required: - Must have an Engineering background - MBA from a reputable B-school is an added advantage - Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience About the Company: Every day, ASSA ABLOY helps billions of people worldwide feel safe, secure, and experience a more open world.
