Product Designer - Banking

Job Description As a Product Designer at Airtel Payments Bank, you will be an integral part of our Design team responsible for creating and enhancing shared design patterns, user journeys, and overall experience design for our expanding range of products. Your focus will be on ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience across all our products. Your role will involve collaborating with multiple teams to develop and implement scalable experience designs in a multi-product environment. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to the overall strategy and decision-making for cross-product design systems. - Define and communicate a clear vision for shared design patterns usable across different products. - Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other design teams to ensure consistent implementation of design components. - Create, iterate, and refine design system components including flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals. - Drive adoption and continuous improvement of the design system organization-wide. - Participate in design brainstorming, reviews, and working sessions with an agile, multi-disciplinary team. - Communicate, collaborate, and build consensus around experience architecture and interaction design direction. - Coordinate usability and A/B testing efforts, interpret results, and integrate insights into the design. - Partner with developers during the implementation phase to bring design vision to life. - Continuously learn and share new insights to enhance interactions and experiences. Qualifications Required: - 9+ years of experience in UX and UI design with a strong focus on design systems. - Proven ability to create simple, scalable solutions for complex user experiences across multiple products. - Experience managing complex projects involving collaboration across different teams and organizational boundaries. - Proficiency in using prototyping or concepts to effectively communicate design decisions. - Deep understanding of design systems in large, multi-product companies. - Experience in mentoring junior or early-career designers.
