Procurement Officer – Water and Wastewater TreatmentLocation: Saif Zone, SharjahDepartment: Procurement / Supply ChainSalary: AED 5,000-7,000Nationality: Female, Filipino or IndianAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a Procurement Officer to join our team and take charge of sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing critical equipment, materials, and services for water and wastewater treatment projects. You’ll play a key role in ensuring procurement activities align with project timelines, budgets, and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSource and evaluate suppliers for mechanical, electrical, civil, and chemical components.Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents.Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms.Manage purchase orders from initiation to delivery.Maintain supplier databases (pumps, valves, membranes, instruments, etc.).Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.Coordinate with legal, finance, logistics, and project teams.Oversee shipping, import/export, and customs documentation.Track procurement progress and supplier performance.Identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business, or related field.Certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or PMP are a plus.Experience:3–5 years of experience in procurement within the water & wastewater, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.Familiarity with ERP or Tally software.Strong knowledge of treatment systems, materials, and technical specifications.SkillsExcellent negotiation and contract management skills.Strong analytical and organizational abilities.Technical understanding of pumps, valves, piping, and instrumentation.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams.#J-18808-Ljbffr
