Procurement Officer

We are looking for a skilled Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management for landscape, swimming pool, and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE suppliers, procurement regulations, and logistics processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with project schedules and company standards.Key Responsibilities:Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials including tiles, lighting, pumps, plants, furniture, fittings, joinery, and MEP items.Prepare and issue RFQs, LPOs, comparison sheets, and purchase orders in coordination with project and design teams.Maintain an updated vendor database with pricing, delivery timelines, and credit terms.Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely supply to sites.Verify material quality and compliance with approved drawings and BOQs.Build long-term relationships with reliable local and international suppliers.Track procurement budgets and costs, ensuring cost control and efficiency.Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and site teams for inventory and delivery management.Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE procurement regulations, and ISO standards.Prepare regular procurement reports and forecasts for management.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.3–5 years of procurement experience in UAE-based landscape, swimming pool, or interior fit-out companies.Strong understanding of UAE supplier networks, customs procedures, and local sourcing.Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and ERP/procurement software (Zoho, Tally, Odoo, or similar).Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and meet project deadlines.Valid UAE driving license is preferred.Key Skills:Material sourcing and vendor managementNegotiation and cost controlBOQ and specification comprehensionProcurement documentation (RFQs, LPOs, POs)Knowledge of construction materials (hardscape, softscape, MEP, joinery, décor)Time management and coordination with project teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
