Procurement Manager (UAE National)

We are currently supporting a leading organization in the UAE in the appointment of a Procurement Manager (UAE National) to oversee and drive strategic procurement activities across large-scale projects and operational requirements. This role is ideal for a commercially driven procurement professional with strong experience in contracts management, vendor negotiations, and supply chain governance within EPC, utilities, infrastructure, or energy environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business and project objectivesLead end-to-end procurement cycle including sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract awardManage supplier prequalification, performance evaluation, and vendor relationship strategiesNegotiate commercial terms including pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, LDs, and risk allocationEnsure compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks, and UAE regulatory requirementsOversee subcontract agreements, service contracts, and long-term supply arrangementsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and optimize total cost of ownershipCollaborate closely with Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and Project teamsMonitor procurement KPIs, reporting, and performance metricsSupport tendering activities and provide commercial input during bid preparationRequirementsUAE National (Emirati)Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field8–15+ years of procurement experience with at least 2-4 years of Managerial experienceProven experience in EPC, infrastructure, utilities, oil & gas, or large-scale project environmentsStrong background in contract negotiation and subcontract managementKnowledge of FIDIC and contract risk principles preferredExperience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
