As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure the timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services necessary for our landscaping projects. The ideal candidate should possess adept negotiation skills, a comprehensive grasp of supply chain management, and the ability to foster and sustain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.RequirementsPerforming Value Engineering and Cost control techniques on construction contractsCoordinating with contractors & handling correspondence relating to the tender and review processAttend Meetings with Designers, Contractors & ClientsDetailed review and reporting on Contractor drawings to Designers and ClientsMaintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor performance evaluations.Maintaining documentation for projects relating to tenders and drawings.Generate comprehensive reports and analyze data to track procurement metrics and identify areas for enhancement.Preparation of recommendations for award of contractor packagesInterpreting and offering advice on contractEnsuring contractual notices and client entitlements are properly administeredConsulting of contractor’s payment recommendationsMeasuring & valuing variationsMaintaining, Requesting and management of Contractor & Supplier pre-qualification documentationCollaborate closely with the quality control team to ensure that all procured materials and equipment meet the company's stringent standards and specifications.Promptly address any quality-related issues as they arise.Some site visits may be necessaryDesired Skills & Experience5+ years’ experience in a Procurement Manager role, preferably within the landscaping or construction industry.Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.Thorough understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.Understanding of Authority approvals and requirementsAbility to work to deadlines & under pressurePrevious Middle East experience is essentialCandidates will need to be highly organized and have document control experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
