Procurement Manager Plastics & Polymers

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a well-established company in the plastic raw material trading industry. Our client is looking for a Procurement Manager to strengthen their procurement function. This is a strategic role for professionals who understand the plastics/polymers supply ecosystem and thrive in fast-paced trading environments. If you bring a proven track record in procurement solid supplier networks and the ability to negotiate with impact this is an opportunity to be part of a respected supply team driving global sourcing initiatives.Key Responsibilities:- Identify and source suppliers for plastic raw materials and polymers.- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.- Negotiate pricing terms and contracts to secure the best deals.- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and trends.- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure uninterrupted material availability.- Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.- Manage purchase orders track deliveries and handle vendor performance evaluations.Requirements- Bachelors degree in supply chain management business administration or a related field.- 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain in a trading company handling plastic raw materials or polymers.- Familiarity with the plastic raw materials/polymer industry is essential.- Strong negotiation analytical and communication skills.- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software is a plus.Benefits- Attractive Salary & BenefitsCandidates from around the world are encouraged to apply. Required Skills:- Preferably a Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Engineering or related disciplines. - A proven track record in business development sales or marketing coupled with an extensive network within the UAEs MEP consulting lighting design specifier and real estate development communities. - Exceptional communication negotiation and relationship-building skills. - In-depth knowledge of LED lighting products and their diverse applications - A self-starter attitude driven by results and capable of autonomous work. - Familiarity with UAE construction and lighting industry norms and regulations.
