OverviewWe are seeking an experienced procurement candidate for the role of Purchase Manager for one of our reputed client in Saudi Arabia. Our client is ranked among the world's largest petrochemicals manufacturers. They are driven by their vision, guided by their mission, and firmly committed to their values and standards. By doing so, they aim to establish themselves as the preferred leader in the petro chemical industry. This position will be based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The minimum education requirement is a bachelor's degree, and candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.ResponsibilitiesGlobal Agreement Handling: Managing global agreements for Mega/Giga Projects, including setting up contracting strategies, assessing market capabilities and capacities, preparing prequalification documents, drafting proforma contracts, overseeing the tendering process, evaluating bids, conducting commercial negotiations, finalizing Terms & Conditions with bidders, and awarding contracts. The Purchase Manager will also be responsible for contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.Contract Amendment and Dispute Resolution: Studying, preparing, and negotiating contract amendments and change orders for Mega Projects, and effectively resolving any disputes or claims that may arise. The Purchase Manager will provide consultations and contribute to the development of new contract templates and procedures as required.Mega Projects Master Blanket Agreements: Establishing Master Blanket Agreements for Mega Projects, negotiating and finalizing agreements that define the terms and conditions for the overall project, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.QualificationsThe ideal candidate should have extensive experience in procurement, preferably with large-scale projects.
