Procurement Engineer

<div><p>Full responsibility for all operations related to the purchase of materials and goods , whether through direct purchase or tenders, including negotiating terms and prices with suppliers, following up on receipt of purchases, matching quantities and specifications and auditing financial claims related to them.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Preparing a database for all company purchases in a way that makes it easy to refer to it when needed.</li><li>Establish the necessary policies, procedures and conditions for completing purchases.</li><li>To establish an effective mechanism for periodic and repeated purchases such as raw materials, supplier details, prices and items that are dealt with in order to facilitate and accelerate them and solve any problems that may hinder them.</li><li>Approve purchase orders, create them automatically and follow up.</li><li>Preparing tenders for procurement, determining the needs and conditions and publishing them.</li><li>Receiving bids for tenders and differentiating between them in accordance with the company's policy and verifying the eligibility of the providers and compliance with the conditions and specifications</li><li>Bring samples of new items to be purchased for inspection with the requester before deciding on the purchase.</li><li>Follow-up the arrival and receipt of items and ensure that they comply with the specifications written in the purchase order in coordination with the ordering authorities, in addition to supporting and speeding up receipt processes when necessary and following up supply on late orders.</li><li>Follow-up with the warehouse Department and the responsible departments regarding the received materials and their distribution, checking the supplier invoices and submitting them for timely payment.</li><li>Assistance in troubleshooting and repairing errors related to the supplied materials or their specifications and managing returns in coordination with the accounting department</li><li>Preparing, updating, arranging and recording all data related to purchases in accordance with the records specified for that.</li><li>Periodic reports on the company's purchases related to orders, Receipt, Payment and the entire procurement cycle.</li><li>Follow-up and inventory management in coordination with all departments to avoid running out of quantities dispose of excess stored items and carry out monthly inventory</li><li>Constant research on prices, its change and the search for competing companies.</li><li>The purchasing officer is responsible for shipping and receiving mail and any company-specific shipments .</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.</li><li>CIPM/CIPP certificate.</li><li>+ 6 years of experience in the field of procurement.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
