Procurement Engineer

Summary: As a Procurement Engineer with experience in Infrastructure and Marine projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing of materials, equipment, and services needed for construction projects in these sectors. You will work closely with project managers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement processes.Job ResponsibilitiesIdentify project requirements for materials, equipment, and services in Infrastructure and Marine projects.Source and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for quality, cost, and reliability.Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedules.Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, expenses, and supplier performance.Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers to ensure smooth operations on projects.Candidate RequirementsUAE/MOFA Attested Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer in Infrastructure and Marine projects.Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and contract negotiation.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Additional SkillsStrong knowledge of procurement processes and proceduresExcellent negotiation skillsAbility to analyze and interpret dataGood communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in vendor managementAttention to detail and accuracyFamiliarity with contract managementProblem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesKnowledge of supply chain management.#J-18808-Ljbffr
