Procurement Engineer (Civil/Construction)

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading construction and fit-out company in Dubai, UAE. Our client is seeking a Procurement Engineer with a civil engineering background to manage end-to-end procurement for construction projects—ensuring the right materials, cost efficiency, and timely delivery to site.Key Responsibilities:Review project BOQs, drawings, and specs to determine material requirements.Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for civil materials (steel, cement, MEP, finishes).Prepare RFQs, compare bids, and issue purchase orders.Coordinate with site teams to align deliveries with project schedules.Inspect materials on-site for quality and compliance.Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities.Maintain supplier relationships and performance records.Requirements:Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.5+ years as a Procurement Engineer/Officer in UAE building contracting.Strong knowledge of civil materials, construction standards, and local regulations.Able to read technical drawings and BOQs.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Valid UAE driving license preferred.Benefits – Attractive Salary & Benefits.#J-18808-Ljbffr
