Job Description As a Procurement Analyst at Flipkart, you will play a crucial role in optimizing vendor management processes, ensuring inventory availability, and supporting data-driven decision-making across multiple categories. You will collaborate with category managers and vendors to forecast demand, analyze procurement data, maintain accurate records, liaise with suppliers, monitor key performance indicators, support sourcing strategies, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth procurement execution. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with category managers and vendors to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely order placements. - Analyzing procurement and inventory data to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve supplier performance, and reduce stockouts. - Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, inventory levels, vendor contracts, and pricing terms. - Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues related to order discrepancies, delays, or quality concerns. - Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order cycle time, vendor lead times, and cost variances. - Supporting sourcing strategies and vendor negotiations based on data insights and market trends. - Coordinating with internal departments such as logistics, finance, and warehousing to ensure smooth procurement execution. - Assisting in developing procurement reports, dashboards, and predictive models using Excel, SQL, or BI tools. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, or a related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor coordination and cross-functional collaboration. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. - Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Experience: - 13 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, inventory planning, or a similar supply chain function. - Experience in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or tech-based logistics is a strong advantage. - Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and procurement platforms is preferred.
