Let us explore this together!</p><p><b>SABIC - Sharq</b></p><p><b>Job Post Start Date: 5.Mar.2026</b></p><p><b>Job Post End Date: 19.Mar.2026</b></p><h3>Job Purpose:</h3><p>To support Operations in complex troubleshooting, unit performance assurance and optimization, long term improvements and development of studies.</p><h3>Key Accountabilities:</h3><ul><li>Comply with Sharq policies and SHEMs / OMS procedures and contribute to achieve target SHE rates as well as comply with quality procedures and Sharq ISO certified standards.</li><li>Provide process ‘know how’ support for plant upset. Perform complex trouble shooting, and support plant in startup and shut down.</li><li>Ensure plant process integrity through a well-defined operating envelope.</li><li>Perform complete project feasibility studies and project package development and follow up for the status of assigned studies on weekly and monthly basis with all process engineers.</li><li>Participate in management of change committee (MOCC) as a member.</li><li>Prepare study Scope and ensure it meets the requirements of plants. Prepare, review and consolidate all the approved studies concept.</li><li>Assist the process manager in any additional duties assigned.</li><li>New catalyst techno-economical evaluation, selection. Performance monitoring catalyst and supporting plants in troubleshooting problems.</li><li>Initiate/apply technology adaption opportunities and best practices.</li><li>Monitor the quality of all utilities and advice operations in case of deviations. Monitor the efficiency of steam boilers&water quality.</li><li>Perform Plant overall monthly performance report/monitoring and advice operation on area of improvement</li><li>Maintaining Furnace design Conversion and Yield without affecting the run-length of cracking operation</li><li>Maintaining Hydrogenation Reactors’ catalyst selectivity within design range without loss of desired products</li><li>Manage the communication with the Licensor, Technology and innovation (T&I), other affiliates&vendors.</li><li>Carryout process modeling as required to support of optimizing and modification requirements.</li><li>Carryout all required studies portion his role in S&E committee as per MEMS 06.08 and MEMS 06.09.</li><li>Groom young process engineers&monitor their progress and act as mentor/body engineer to develop them and validate their progress on continuous basis.</li><li>Handling all required Process communication with Licenser, SABIC Technology and innovation (T&I) Vendors.</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor Degree on chemical engineering or equivalent.</li><li>5 years’ experience in the relevant field.</li></ul><h3>Job Specific Skills:</h3><ul><li>Knowledge of regulatory requirements, procedures and legislative process.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, personal rapport and motivation are required to effectively coach internal staff and work with outside groups.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft application
