We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.Major accountabilities of PositionLead and oversee telecom systems for major offshore oil and gas projects, designing, implementing, and managing advanced Telecommunication systems and equipment in complex large‑scale projects.Carry out FEED and detailed design engineering activities for Telecommunication systems and sub‑systems, coordinating with various discipline groups in an engineering consultancy organization. Preferred expertise: onshore networks (SDH/OTN/DWDM/Gigabit Ethernet), wireless digital communication (HF, VHF, UHF, Tetra, spread spectrum), serial communication, CCTV, information systems, telephone/data networks, structured cabling, PA/GA Systems, and access control.Leverage deep technical knowledge, leadership ability, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure project delivery meets industry standards and specifications.Demonstrate proven experience in delivering onshore and offshore detailed engineering projects, including greenfield and brownfield processing platforms and Well Head Towers. Offshore experience is an advantage.Interact with vendors, review offers, prepare TBEs for Telecom Systems and bulk materials, and generate/review all Telecom engineering documents.Develop discipline work plans and supervise Telecom engineers, designers, and technical personnel in project execution and deliverable development.Provide technical expertise and support in specification, design, and selection of Telecom systems.Manage all aspects of Telecommunication engineering on assigned projects: planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.Control design change within project budget and schedule, collaborating with project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction teams for seamless integration.Oversee the preparation of design deliverables and ensure compliance with project requirements.Engage client engineering teams for design deliverable approval.Represent organisational competency at various forums.Liaise with Project Manager/Engineer to manage design change within budget and schedule framework.Specialise in systems such as FOC cable installation, SDH, Ethernet, CCTV, access control, PA/GA, TETRA, LAN/WAN, telephone/data systems, and integration of complete Telecommunication packages with system integrators.Develop Telecom specifications, data sheets, design basis, coverage reports, block diagrams, TETRA, access control, PAGA, CCTV, LAN/WAN, power consumption & heat dissipation calculations, equipment lists, tie‑in lists, cable schedules, layout drawings, and MTO specifications.Prepare Modification Scope of Work for existing Telecom systems.Participate in site surveys, data collection, workshops (design reviews, risk reviews, value engineering, constructability).Ensure understanding of HSE requirements for the discipline team.Guarantee technical integrity of deliverables, ensuring compliance with scope and international standards.Prepare proposals and MH estimations.Handle workshare with remote office.Provide Field Engineering, FAT, SAT, and commissioning support.Knowledge / Experience / Competencies RequiredJob Specific Knowledge: Execution of FEED and detailed engineering for onshore & offshore oil and gas projects. Design experience with major ADNOC projects, preparation/review of all Telecom Engineering deliverables, input to LER & control room layouts, guiding 3D modelling, scope and bid evaluation for TSI, and field engineering and commissioning support.Industry Specific Experience: Good knowledge of ADNOC standards, SHELL DEPs, and international standards (ITU‑T, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, IEC). Graduate Degree in Telecommunication.HSE Capability: Knowledge of hazardous area classification.IT Skills: Proficiency with MS Office.People Skills: Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and ability to guide teams locally and remotely.Other: Excellent command of English (verbal & written), report writing, and client presentation skills.Authority / Freedom to Act / Decision Making (Including Budgetary Responsibility)Guide and control a team of Engineers and Designers, including workshare.Control budget, plan, and deliver per schedule as a discipline lead, making decisions essential to project success.Moving forward togetherWe’re committed to building a diverse,
