<div><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Principal Specialist, BU Data Domain is the owner of a specific Business Unit data domain, accountable for the semantic integrity, governance, quality, and fitness‑for‑purpose of all data products produced from that domain.</p><h3>Job Purpose</h3><p>The role ensures that BU data and relevant digital initiative is transformed into trusted, governed, and reusable data products aligned with enterprise standards, while still reflecting the operational and decision‑making realities of the Business Unit. This position acts as the single point of accountability for domain definitions, KPIs, ownership, and data quality outcomes.</p><h3>Key Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Act as the domain authority for all data entities, KPIs, and concepts within the assigned mining Business Unit domain.</li><li>Participate in enterprise design and governance forums to align domain needs with cross‑domain and platform standards.</li><li>Ensure domain data reflects actual business processes, operational constraints, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Work closely with data engineering and platform teams to ensure domain data products are implemented as designed.</li><li>Act as the primary data representative for the Business Unit, engaging senior stakeholders on data definitions, KPIs, and data‑driven decisions.</li><li>Translate BU needs into structured domain requirements that can be delivered consistently.</li><li>Advocate for domain priorities while aligning with enterprise direction.</li><li>Adapt enterprise standards to BU context without breaking consistency.</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualification</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Management, or related discipline</li><li>Master’s degree or equivalent domain experience is an advantage</li></ul><h3>Minimum Experience</h3><ul><li>10+ years of experience within a Business Unit domain, data, analytics, or enterprise information management</li><li>Demonstrated experience owning domain definitions, KPIs, and data quality outcomes</li><li>Proven ability to influence senior business and technical stakeholders without direct authority</li></ul><h3>Skills</h3><ul><li>Domain‑driven data ownership and KPI definition</li><li>Data governance and stewardship operating models</li><li>Data quality management and remediation leadership</li><li>Strong business–technical translation capability</li><li>Ability to align local domain needs with enterprise standards</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
