Principal Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)

Joining WSP means being part of a global network of experts, with access to world‑class resources and clear pathways for career progression.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) for complex projects.Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring compliance with local codes, sustainability standards, and client requirements.Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and electrical teams to provide integrated building services solutions.Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance processes.Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.Support business development activities, including client engagement, proposal preparation, and presentations.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).Minimum 12 years of experience in building services design, with at least 5 years in the UAE.Strong technical expertise in HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, and sustainable design practices.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM tools.Chartered Engineer status (CIBSE, ASHRAE, or equivalent) is highly desirable.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Proven track record of delivering large‑scale projects in the Middle East Region#J-18808-Ljbffr
