Principal Full Stack Engineer - Cloud FinOps Platform

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to lead the technical design, architecture, and delivery of an enterprise‑grade Multi‑Cloud FinOps Platform. This role will own the end‑to‑end technical vision, mentor senior engineers, and drive architectural decisions across data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and application development.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the overall technical architecture for the CloudFin platform spanning Azure, AWS, and OCI integrationLead architectural decisions for data lakehouse design, API layer, and frontend applicationsEstablish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across the engineering teamConduct architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise security and compliance standardsDesign the medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) using Delta Lake and DatabricksArchitect data ingestion pipelines from multiple cloud providers using Event Hubs, Azure Functions, and Delta Live TablesDefine data governance strategy using Unity Catalog including row‑level and column‑level securityDesign cost allocation, chargeback, and shared cost distribution algorithmsArchitect AKS deployment for backend microservices with proper scaling and resilienceMentor and guide senior full‑stack engineers on complex technical problemsCollaborate with product management (CCoE) to translate business requirements into technical specificationsDrive technical roadmap planning and sprint executionConduct code reviews and ensure high‑quality deliverablesRequired Technical Qualifications12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in principal or staff engineer roles5+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure with exposure to AWS and OCI3+ years of experience with data engineering and lakehouse architecturesProven track record of delivering enterprise‑scale platforms from inception to productionExpert‑level proficiency in React, Python, and TypeScriptDeep experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and SparkStrong knowledge of Azure services including AKS, ADLS Gen2, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, and API ManagementProficiency in designing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services using FastAPI or similar frameworksStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub ActionsExperience designing multi‑cloud data integration solutionsKnowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost management conceptsUnderstanding of enterprise security patterns including zero‑trust architecture, private endpoints, and managed identitiesExperience with event‑driven architectures and streaming data platformsExcellent communication skills with ability to present to technical and non‑technical stakeholdersStrong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilitiesExperience leading distributed engineering teamsAbility to balance technical excellence with business delivery timelines#J-18808-Ljbffr
