OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Principal Engineer Water to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization you will lead and oversee complex water infrastructure projects driving sustainable solutions for our clients and the communities we serve.Spearhead the design and implementation of largescale water and wastewater infrastructure projectsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teamsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients stakeholders and regulatory bodiesEnsure project quality timeliness and adherence to budgetsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated water management solutionsConduct advanced hydraulic modeling and analysis for complex water systemsOversee environmental impact assessments for waterrelated projectsStay current with industry trends and innovative technologies in water engineeringContribute to business development efforts and proposal writingEnsure compliance with local and international water regulations and standardsQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering Environmental EngineeringMinimum 12 years of experience with at least 5 years in the UAE or other GCC countriesAbility to lead a team of engineers to deliver medium to largesized projectsSenior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for the teamProvides specialized technical input to studies and design for staffs specific area of expertiseDevelops study and design procedures to facilitate highquality costeffective work by othersParticipates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverablesDevelops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projectsUses expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of the PS&E packagePerforms quality control review of design calculations or drawingsPrepares technical specification sectionsProvides input to developing the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirementsAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
