Principal architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect to join our team in Doha, Qatar, for a prestigious high-rise project. The ideal candidate will lead architectural design reviews, ensure compliance with project requirements, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver world-class design solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead architectural design and design management for high-rise projects from concept to IFC stage.Review and approve detailed design and IFC documentation, ensuring adherence to project standards and client requirements.Manage multi-disciplinary coordination (Architecture, MEP, Structural, Interior Design) throughout all project phases.Oversee design review processes for architecture and interior design at detailed design and IFC levels.Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.Prepare and review scope documents, technical reports, and design documentation.Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and international best practices.Participate in weekly/monthly reporting and client meetings.Support proposal development and contribute to RFP responses when required.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering (Applied Sciences not accepted).Minimum 10 years in architectural design and/or buildings project management consultancy.Minimum 10 years in large and/or international firms as Architect or Senior Architect.Minimum 2 projects with hands-on experience in tower design and/or design review.Minimum 5 large projects completed from Concept to IFC level (Design or Design Management).Minimum 5 years in architecture and interior design review at detailed design and IFC level.Minimum 5 years in multi-disciplinary coordination (AR/MEP/ST/ID).Proven experience in scope writing and reporting.Strong time management skills; results-driven with minimal supervision.Highly adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks fluidly.Language: Fluency in English (preferably as first language).All qualifications to be supported by reference letters, portfolio, and CV.Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
