Job DetailsJob Category: PP & PVC WelderJob Type: Full TimeJob Location: Umm-al-QuwainResponsibilitiesPerform welding on PP (Polypropylene) and PVC welding materials using heat fusion, welding, electrofusion, or extrusion welding techniques.Fabricate and assemble components based on technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and form PP materials.Assemble welded parts and perform quality checks to ensure they meet specified standards and tolerances.Material HandlingEnsure that PP materials are handled, stored, and prepared according to safety and quality standards.Quality ControlInspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.Troubleshoot welding issues, such as weak joints or defects, and take corrective actions.Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.Safety And ComplianceAdhere to all safety regulations and protocols related to welding, handling hazardous materials, and working with heavy machinery.Ensure all work complies with environmental, health, and safety guidelines.Collaboration And CommunicationWork closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure welding and fabrication tasks are completed according to schedule and specifications.Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements in welding and fabrication processes.QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.Certification in welding preferred.Formal training or apprenticeship in welding or fabrication of plastic materials is a plus.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and fabricating polypropylene (PP) and PVC pipes materials or other plastics.Proven experience with welding techniques like heat fusion, extrusion, or butt welding.Experience with welding equipment and machinery, including automated and manual tools.Skills And Abilities: Strong understanding of welding principles and materials, specifically PP plastics.Skilled in using welding tools and equipment safely and effectively.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to follow proper safety procedures.#J-18808-Ljbffr
