Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.</p><p><b>Field service engineer (pump equipment)</b>– Full Time – Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates</p><p>Sulzer is looking for a<b>field service engineer responsible for the overhaul repair installation&commissioning of pump equipment to support our client base in the Middle East.</b>Preparing, coordinating and carrying out inspections and repairs of all pump types at customer sites inside and outside the country within the specified time and at the estimated cost.</p><p><b>The position is home based or UAE based requiring travel back and forth to the Middle East upon business needs.</b></p><h3>Your main tasks and responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Carrying out reparations and inspections inside and outside the country at customer sites.</li><li>Provision of safe and effective site and workshop overhaul repair installation and commissioning services for all rotating equipment.</li><li>Be the first point of contact for allocated customers in respect of any issues relating to agreed onsite scopes of work.</li><li>Develop strong relationships with key client contacts.</li><li>Be responsible for onsite Health&Safety.</li><li>Compile onsite Risk Assessments for scopes of work.</li><li>Lead and supervise onsite repair teams during site contract.</li><li>Provide continuous improvement in repair installation and commissioning activities.</li><li>Develop and maintain good and effective relationships with clients to optimise further service opportunities.</li><li>Liaise with technical departments within Sulzer to develop engineering solutions.</li><li>Manage relevant suppliers and subcontractors.</li><li>Compilation of comprehensive site reports in line with company quality management system.</li><li>Communication: communicates (in English as well) with Supervisor Field Service Site Manager contractors and internal Sulzer Turbo Services departments.</li><li>Writing daily reports.</li><li>Work with: PC MS Office package, telephone, hand tools, lifting equipment and gear, induction equipment, welding and cutting equipment, Sulzer regulations, OEM instructions, customer rules and regulations and local safety regulations.</li></ul><h3>To succeed in this role you will need</h3><ul><li>Relevant experience of minimum 10 years of working on centrifugal pumps (API610 and rotating equipment).</li><li>Proficient in English.</li><li>Experience working in the Middle East.</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and data.</li></ul><p>If you're a<b>certified mechanical engineer with proven expertise in pumps repair</b>driving continuous improvement across maintenance services and repair, take the next step and make the most of your skills by joining us.</p><p>Our team is looking forward hearing from you!</p><p><b>Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
