Power System Optimization Specialist

<div><h3>Roles and Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Prepare year ahead energy allocation plan and provide monthly update in alignment with NG.</li><li>Analyze and review historical data on outages, daily operations, maintenance, and efficiency, summarizing results and action plans to improve operations.</li><li>Coordinate and approve year ahead generation outage schedule in alignment with NG.</li><li>Maintain monitoring of the generation outage plan and maintenance schedules, producing required reports accordingly.</li><li>Prepare year ahead generation cost including generation marginal cost calculations and update it if needed.</li><li>Implement and analyze back-casting and implement actions based on the findings.</li><li>Prepare year ahead merit-order and update it if needed.</li><li>Monitor and report transmission system losses.</li><li>Maintain monitoring of the system loads, fuel consumption and calculate generation efficiency accordingly.</li><li>Gather data of power system to assess performance.</li><li>Monitor weather forecasts and compare them with actual weather data, reporting findings accordingly.</li><li>Prepare, review and analyze year ahead system services requirement in alignment with NG&Regulator (SERA).</li><li>Support the power system readiness ahead of the peak load period.</li><li>Conduct technical studies for power export scenarios, determine the pricing of offers, and submitting the final report to the regulator upon the completion of each transaction.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field</li><li>Minimum 2 years of expreience in the same field.</li><li>English fluency (written and spoken).</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
