Power Projects Interface Specialist

<div><h3>Role Purpose:</h3><ul><li>Manage and coordinate the interfaces associated with the implementation of Renewable and Conventional Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects during the project implementation phase.</li><li>Monitor interface engineering and studies, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with project agreements, technical specifications, and requirements.</li><li>Report at the portfolio level to flag any portfolio or project level risk in project delivery and implementation.</li><li>Provide a mitigating plan and put together corrective measures to address any rising issues and discrepancies within the project’s portfolio.</li></ul><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Manage and coordinate project implementation interfaces with the relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Participate in site visits, project review meetings, and technical discussions to assess project implementation progress.</li><li>Oversee and monitor the progress of engineering activities related to project interfaces and grid studies.</li><li>Facilitate effective communication and resolution of interface issues among stakeholders.</li><li>Identify risks associated with interfaces that may impact project implementation schedules.</li><li>Recommend mitigation measures and corrective actions in coordination with relevant departments.</li><li>Assist in evaluating interface-related claims, delays, or disputes involving project stakeholders.</li><li>Track the progress of interface activities against the project implementation schedule.</li><li>Prepare periodic reports and presentations on the status of interface activities and approvals.</li><li>Manage project agreements and follow up the completion of work on projects according to requirements, specifications and implementation plans.</li><li>Oversee, and follow up on project activities, as per contracts and agreements to ensure alignment with all technical specifications.</li><li>Hold site inspections proactively to ensure the project is being implemented in accordance with schedule.</li><li>Ensure that the power plant has provided the required approvals and compliance with the Grid Code requirements.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Knowledge:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline.</li><li>Holding any Project professional certificates (is a plus).</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in the same field.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in power generation/Transmission sector with relevant exposure in IPP projects.</li><li>Experience in IPP project development, engineering, project implementation, and grid interconnection activities.</li><li>Experience working with EPC contractors, project developers, and utilities is preferred.</li><li>Ability to determine the actions, risks and end results required.</li><li>Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across large projects.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.</li><li>Ability to review technical documentation, engineering reports, and project schedules.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
