Job DescriptionPosition Title: Pouring OperatorDivision: Casting ShopCategory: Skilled WorkerLocation: Eastern Province, Saudi ArabiaSalary: SAR 2,500 - 3,500 + FATJob SummaryThe Pouring Operator is responsible for the safe and accurate pouring of molten metal into prepared sand molds using Slide Gate Ladle or Lip Pouring Ladle systems. The role requires strict control of metal temperature and pouring flow to ensure defect‑free castings while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality within a casting shop environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMolten Metal Pouring OperationsPerform molten metal pouring using Slide Gate Ladle / Lip Pouring Ladle systemsEnsure correct ladle positioning and smooth, controlled metal flowMonitor and maintain proper metal temperature during pouring operationsAdjust pouring speed and sequence to prevent turbulence, cold shuts, or misrunsQuality Control & Process AccuracyEnsure complete and uniform mold filling as per casting specificationsIdentify pouring‑related defects such as misruns, inclusions, or cold shutsReport abnormalities or defects to supervisors and quality teams immediatelyFollow approved pouring procedures and process parametersSafety & ComplianceStrictly adhere to HSE rules and molten metal handling proceduresUse appropriate PPE including heat‑resistant clothing, face shields, gloves, and safety shoesMaintain safe distances and controlled movement during pouring operationsPrevent spillage, splashing, and exposure to molten metal hazardsCoordination & TeamworkCoordinate with furnace operators to ensure correct metal chemistry and temperatureWork closely with molding and shakeout teams for smooth casting operationsFollow production schedules and supervisor instructionsHousekeeping & DisciplineMaintain cleanliness in the pouring area to avoid contamination or accidentsEnsure ladles, tools, and pouring equipment are kept in safe working conditionFollow shop‑floor discipline and operational proceduresRequirementsExperience RequirementMinimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience in casting shop pouring operationsProven experience using Slide Gate Ladle or Lip Pouring Ladle systemsExperience handling molten metal in industrial casting environmentsSkills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of molten metal behavior and pouring techniquesHigh awareness of safety practices in high‑temperature environmentsAbility to follow standard operating procedures and work instructionsGood coordination and communication skillsPhysically fit to work in hot and demanding shop‑floor conditionsWork Environment & ConditionsCasting shop environment with exposure to high heat and molten metalShift‑based work as per production requirementsOvertime applicable based on workload and production demands#J-18808-Ljbffr
