Supports the provision of safe, patient and family-focused quality care. Assists in the daily functioning of the unit/department in support of patient care while maintaining confidentiality. Transfers the patient luggage to/from patient rooms. Escorts patient to rooms upon admission and discharge if needed. Escorts patients whenever the need arises throughout the hospital premises. Demonstrates knowledge of all hospital services and facilities.
