PMO Biomedical Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated PMO Biomedical Engineer to join our procurement team for Medical Equipment Procurement. The PMO Biomedical Engineer will play a critical role in sourcing and purchasing materials, Medical Equipment, and services to meet the organization's operational needs. This role requires effective communication, negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise in biomedical engineering for healthcare projects.Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment of biomedical engineering activities with project goals.Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of biomedical engineering projects.Develop and maintain project documentation related to biomedical equipment and technology.Coordinate communication between biomedical engineering teams and other project stakeholders.Monitor project timelines, resources, and budgets for biomedical aspects.Evaluate and recommend biomedical technologies to enhance healthcare services.Ensure compliance with biomedical engineering standards and regulations.Analyze project data to identify opportunities for improvement in biomedical processes.Facilitate training and knowledge transfer within the biomedical engineering team.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related field.Proven experience in biomedical engineering and project management.Knowledge of biomedical equipment and technologies.Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in project management software.Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.Detail‑oriented and focused on quality outcomes.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.SkillsProficiency in procurement software and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Certifications—relevant certifications such as CPSM, CPPO, or CPPB are a plus.The prospective candidate shall have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
